ITEC Kansas City

Heavy Equipment and Machinery Expo

with Agriculture Center and Farm Machinery Expo

Including Specialized Education Academies

To be Located In the Greater Area of Kansas City, Missouri

An educational facility especially designed  for the manufacturers of heavy equipment and machinery, which includes transportation, farming, construction, material handling, seaport equipment, rail transportation, mining and exploration. The academies provide training in the operation and safety of the heavy equipment related industries.

For the manufactures it provides an international destination to permanently exhibit their products, conduct demonstrations, market and sell products, provide support for dealers, distributors and wholesalers and conduct market, consumer and competitive research.

Open to the public, it creates a tremendous venue for advertising and gaining ideas for product enhancement; and in conjunction with the academy, manufacturers can be assured their customers will have capable, trained and experienced operators for their type of heavy equipment.

For the public, it will be similar to attending a large theme park. Attendees will experience fun and excitement while being educated on the many types of equipment and machinery on display and by watching the equipment in action. They will gain a deeper appreciation of how progress and development takes place around the globe.

Project Summary:

ITEC Equipment, Machinery, Agriculture and Transportation Expo and Operators Academy

Project Location:

This unique project is being developed in the Greater Area of Kansas City, Missouri, uniquely placed on 200 acres of prime real estate.

The Kansas City region has a rich history as a center for commerce. Its heartland, river-based location made it a natural crossroads for transcontinental rail, interstate, and waterway. Through its history, Greater Kansas City has established itself as the leading center for trade and distribution within the central United States and is emerging now as a leader in international trade as America's inland port solution.

Located in the heart of America at the hub of the transcontinental and NAFTA trade corridors, Kansas City is a center of choice for warehousing, manufacturing and distribution. Business has prospered due in large part to the region's abundant, multi-modal transportation network.

Kansas City boasts more freeway-lane miles per capita than any other U.S. city. As one of only five U.S. cities in which three interstates intersect, soon to be four interstates, the region also is a prime player in the emerging international trade corridor providing for the efficient flow of goods across America and between the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Five major railroads serve Kansas City making it the largest rail hub in the nation in terms of volume. With 90 miles of track in the metro area, all under centralized traffic control, the Kansas City Terminal Railway Co. coordinates the efficient movement and interchange of rail traffic for the more than 300 trains arriving or departing Kansas City each day.

The Kansas City area moves more air cargo in a six state area than any other region in the U.S. Kansas City has three active airports and one of the largest airport Foreign Trade Zones in the U.S.

Kansas City, Missouri truly is the global destination for deal making and business transactions. And in addition to being one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. and the globe, the Greater Kansas City Area is one of the most cost efficient destinations for travel and accommodations.
